Recognise and articulate the values and world views inherent in different understandings of the causes and subsequent policy responses to social issues

Critically analyse social policy development, implementation and evaluation processes in the context of human service practice

Demonstrate the capacity to engage in and critically reflect on the social policy making process

Synthesise knowledge of key concepts, values, principles, competing models and choices as relevant to a critical analysis of social need and social policy
