Upon completion of this subject, graduates will be able to:

Examine Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander worldviews, knowledge systems, philosophies and contribution in shaping Australian society
2.
Analyse health data for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australian communities, including how this data is gathered and used to inform policy, models of care and professional practice
3.
Develop effective, culturally safe strategies for community engagement and co-design for working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations
4.
Analyse the impact of the social determinants of health and wellbeing on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples lives and the role that cultural determinants play in health and wellbeing
