The purpose of this subject is to introduce students to research issues relevant to applied psychology. Students will learn how to design research projects with a focus on how to generate appropriate and testable ideas, develop ethical research protocols, recruit appropriate participant samples, and collect data using various research approaches and methods commonly employed by psychology researchers. Students will learn about open access software for statistical analysis and generative AI to improve research workflows.  Students will develop written skills in relation to the evaluation of research.
