Upon completion of this subject, graduates will be able to:

Demonstrate ability to respond to the needs of consumers and carers from diverse backgrounds when the person experiences a mental disorder

Implement appropriate techniques to facilitate and build therapeutic relationships with the person and their carers

Integrate attitudes and skills necessary for clinical application with consumers who have mental disorders
