It provides a basis for understanding the development process, including planning schemes, environmental impact assessment, sub-divisional development, appeals and the jurisdiction of the Planning and Environment Court or Ministerial Appeals

Upon completion of this subject, graduates will be able to:

Develop specific knowledge of the relevant planning and environmental legislation in Queensland Australia and Singapore
2.
Demonstrate practically-based comprehension of the functions of the Planning and Environment Court or Ministerial Appeals and other appeal systems
3.
Identify relevant planning jurisdictions from within Australia or Singapore and overseas
4.
Demonstrate understanding and application of the Planning Act 1998 (Singapore) or the Planning Act 2016 (Queensland)
5.
Examine and appraise professional practice and ethics
