Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this subject, graduates will be able to:

describe the socio-political circumstances that makes adoption of sustainability policy and practice challenging in contemporary society
2.
demonstrate inclusive and systemic thinking with respect to sustainability issues and challenges
3.
communicate effectively and persuasively, both orally and in writing
4.
define key sustainability concepts/principles and identify their relevance to key sustainability issues
5.
discuss key global and Australian sustainability challenges in terms of environmental, economic and socio-political dimensions
