In this subject students will develop the theoretical and practical knowledge required for financial advising professionals to provide ethical and professional advice aligned to their financial advising responsibilities. The subject introduces, describes and promotes exploration of the values and standards of the FASEA Code of Ethics. Students develop and apply their knowledge of the standards to evaluate and apply ethical principles in the decision making processes used in the financial services industry. Practical examples and case studies will be used within this subject to allow students to apply their understanding of ethical and professional practice obligations to varied client scenarios.
