Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this subject, graduates will be able to:

Utilise focused health assessment to identify variations from normal health parameters
2.
Relate principles of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics to the management of individuals requiring perioperative care, and experiencing pain and respiratory, cardiovascular, renal and integumentary disorders
3.
Apply knowledge of the pathophysiology of respiratory, cardiovascular, renal and integumentary disorders in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
4.
Apply principles of culturally safe person-centred care in the provision of nursing care
5.
Apply the Registered Nurse standards for practice and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards in the provision of evidence-based nursing care
