Oral - Interview; Written - Case study analysis

This module builds rural generalist knowledge and skills in supporting the psycho-social wellbeing of clients who are living in rural and/or remote communities. Participants will explore psycho-social wellbeing in the broader context of interrelated wellbeing domains, extending knowledge of wellbeing measures, techniques &amp; strategies, including mental health first aid. Participants will explore service improvement options through the lens of their local community. As part of this module participants are required to complete the eLearning Component of the Blended Mental Health First Aid Course for Tertiary Students (MHFA) at an additional cost to participants.

Design and develop service improvement options to support clients' psycho-social wellbeing, in rural and remote communities


Formulate and communicate techniques and strategies designed to optimise psycho-social support in the rural and/or remote setting, drawing upon a developing knowledge of psycho-social wellbeing, in accordance with best practice guidelines and local service strategic intent
