Structure

Review, analyse and engage the problematic body of knowledge about Indigenous peoples to negotiate the boundaries of Indigenous and non-Indigenous knowledge standpoints, communicating these ideas to specialist and non‐specialist audiences

Integrate and apply a specialised body of theoretical and specialised knowledge of the historical and contemporary position of Australian and international Indigenous communities to a variety of professional and academic settings

Demonstrate personal autonomy and accountability, reflecting on the possibilities and limits of one’s knowledge, understanding and standpoints and how these reflective practices can be used in working with Indigenous people, communities and organisations.

Demonstrate highly advanced intercultural knowledge and communication skills to transfer complex theoretical and practical ideas in professional and academic settings.

Critically analyse complex situations to identify, plan and evaluate innovative and ethical solutions that respond to the contemporary position of Indigenous communities in the tropics, both in Australia and internationally;
