Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, graduates will be able to:
1.
Adapt and apply specialised knowledge, skills and technical competencies across a variety of health contexts, including tropical, rural, remote and Indigenous settings

Expertly communicate using high-level written and oral language skills
3.
Reflect on practice of self and others to ensure quality and promote an environment of excellence in healthcare

Critically analyse, synthesise and evaluate a range of data and evidence to provide solutions to complex nursing problems.

Credit

Students may apply for a credit transfer for previous tertiary study or informal and non-formal learning in accordance with the Credit Transfer Procedure.

Credit Expiry & Other Restrictions

Credit gained for any subject shall be cancelled 15 years after the date of the examination upon which the credit is based if, by then, the student has not completed this course.

Maximum Credit Allowed & Currency

12 credit points (maximum 12 credit points for formal studies; maximum 6 credit points for Recognised Prior Learning [RPL]). Credit will be granted only for subjects completed in the 10 years prior to the commencement of this course.
